Brenda Hope is an Associate at O & M Law, specialising in litigation, employment, immigration, and real estate and conveyancing law.

Brenda has competently advised and assisted her seniors with various matters including succession law, contractual disputes, and land disputes. She has also represented clients in both the prosecution and defense of claims before courts and arbitral tribunals.

In her employment law practice, she has advised a diverse portfolio of the firm’s clients on labour outsourcing, redundancy and restructuring exercises and the alignment of policies, manuals and contracts to Kenyan labour laws. She has also defended employment claims against the firm’s clients including but not limited to continuous injury claims and unfair termination claims. Brenda has also drafted and reviewed employment contracts, employee policies and disciplinary associated documents.

Brenda has also advised and successfully procured passes and permits for foreign clients seeking to work, invest, or reside in Kenya through her immigration law practice.

Brenda has adeptly negotiated multiple sale and lease agreements in respect of off-plan developments under the real estate department. She has assisted and taken conduct of several conveyancing matters including but not limited to file reconstruction, sale and purchase of property, change of records and general conveyancing tasks.
